Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Service Advisor to kick-start their career in the automotive industry. This paid apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the ins and outs of vehicle servicing, customer interaction, and sales support while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their vehicle service needs in a professional manner
- Support the Service Advisors by preparing job cards and updating customer records accurately
- Learn to upsell additional services or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Handle cash transactions securely, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized service reception area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Develop mechanical knowledge by understanding basic vehicle servicing procedures and repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Skills
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Willingness to learn about vehicle mechanics and dealership processes
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a desire to assist others effectively
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive technology is advantageous
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity
Requirements:
- Full, clean UK Driving License
- GCSE (or equivalent) grades 9 - 4 (A - C) in English, Maths and one other subject
