Dance Base supports a rolling programme of paid opportunities for dance and movement professionals, including artist residencies, scratch nights, surgeries, and professional development events. Participants are often selected via an open call process and we strive to offer equality of opportunity, regardless of experience or access needs.

Prospect | Japan Solo Residency Call Out

Developed in partnership between Dance Base Scotland and Dance Base Yokohama, PROSPECT is a solo residency opportunity that will position a Scotland-based artist within the Japanese dance sector for an extended period, through undertaking four weeks of studio-based research at Dance Base Yokohama, followed by a week to connect, explore and network.
