Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 heavy goods vehicle equipped with a tipper mechanism, delivering materials efficiently and securely to various sites. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with a proactive attitude, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle fitted with a tipper mechanism for transporting bulk materials and aggregates.
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals at designated locations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee safety and compliance with legal standards.
- Load and unload materials using the tipper mechanism, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery notes and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any operational issues.
- Follow all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during daily operations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial driver minimum 2 years , particularly with flatbed or tipper vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards for HGV vehicles.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle delivery schedules efficiently while maintaining safety priorities.
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
- Familiarity with delivery driver best practices, including route planning and time management.

Holidays: yearly 28 days.
