Foyle Food Group Campsie a modern beef slaughter hall facility is looking for general operatives to work in our plant at Strathfoyle, Campsie Co Londonderry.
We are seeking a Loading Bay Operative at the site – full training and development will be available to maximise your potential. This is an exciting opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to develop a career in one of the UK’s largest meat processing companies.
Main duties of the role will be:
- Ensuring the quality of the product being dispatched to other departments adhere to all quality parameters,
- Assist in maintaining records of goods inwards in accordance with Company requirements,
- Assist in ensuring that the scales in your department are accurate to conform to Weights and Measures legislation and completion of checklists provided,
- Processing of orders in the right sequence and ensuring deadlines are met,
- Achievement of individual and team KPIs.
Essential Criteria:
- Your own form of transport or a way to work as there are no buses for the early start 5am.
- Ability to complete quality checks including beef specification on products throughout the process and ensure that finished product is to customer specification.
- Pervious experienced in a Red Meat slaughter / Red Meat production environment is preferred,
- Good people skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Ability to perform in a physically demanding job, within a cold environment.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
- Motivated, with ability to work on own initiative and flexible according to business needs.
We work a variable 40 hour week Monday to Friday starting at 7.30am. The rate paid for this position is currently between £13.71 > £15.00
