Structural Revit Technician - Contract
Derby
£40.00-£45.00 per hour (outside IR35)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Technician to join a busy engineering consultancy in Derby on an urgent long-term contract.
Working as part of an established design team, you will play a key role in producing high-quality structural drawings and technical detailing for complex building projects.
As a Structural Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Producing accurate structural drawings and detailing using AutoCAD

Supporting the delivery of major construction projects valued at over £20 million

Preparing drawings in line with current industry standards and BIM Level 2 requirements where applicable

Working with a variety of structural materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry

Liaising closely with structural engineers and other design team members to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and accurately

Assisting with project delivery from concept through to construction
To be considered, you should have:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

Strong technical detailing skills and a good understanding of structural construction

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
-
The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment
