Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about a broad range including gardening, household, DIY, Gifts etc with good communication skills in English. This role involves assisting customers, organising merchandise, and providing expert advice on our range of products. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selection, offering knowledgeable advice on related items
- Maintain organise and attractive merchandise displays, ensuring products are well-stocked and correctly priced
- Support in stock management, including receiving deliveries and replenishing shelves
- Engage with customers in good manner and cater to diverse clientele
- Promote special offers, new products, and seasonal items effectively through merchandising techniques
- Keep the sales area clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times
- Assist with organising demonstrations or workshops when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of retail, or related fields is desirable
- Multilingual skills are beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers of diverse backgrounds
- Passion for helping and providing outstanding customer support
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
