Quality Control Operative
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Operative to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a production environment who is passionate about maintaining high quality standards and ensuring products consistently meet customer, legal, and safety requirements.
Hours of Work
The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday on the following rotating day and night shift Pattern:
- Week 1 - Day Shift: Monday to Wednesday 6.00am to 6.00pm, Thursday 6am to 4.00pm.
- Week 2 - Night Shift: Monday to Wednesday 6.00pm to 6.00am.
Main Duties:
- Ensure all products supplied from operation conforms to legal, quality & safety requirements to protect employee, customer & brand name.
- Co-ordinate and carry out daily QA checks on site.
- Ensure documentation completion and record any instances of non-conformity.
- Complete raw material and packaging intake quality inspections.
- Complete quality inspections and sampling of finished products.
- Liaise & communicate with production managers & operators on all items relating to product quality.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good level of understanding and spoken English, with Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and following instruction, with excellent attention to detail.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Criteria:
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a Quality Control Department within a production environment.
