NIGHT CLASS 1 DRIVER
Hours: In line with the HGV working time directive. Various start times
Pay: £44,200 per annum (£850.00 paid weekly), plus monthly bonus scheme
We are currently recruiting a Night Class 1 driver to join our pallet delivery network in Sittingbourne to deliver and collect pallet trunk runs to Birmingham, Rugby or London
We are looking for hardworking, reliable, honest individuals with great attention to detail. Our roles will involve maintaining high standards of customer service so applicants will need great communication and interpersonal skills.
ALL TRAINING IS PROVIDED.
Summary:
As a Lorry Driver Class 1, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely using your core skills in driving and commercial driving. Possessing a Category C+E Licence and strong communication skills, you will play a vital role in the transportation and logistics operations of the company. Qualifications:
- Valid Category C+E Licence
- Proven experience as a class 1 driver

Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload double decker cargo, securing items properly for transport, in line with The Road Traffic Act 1988
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate any issues to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
