Staffordshire Regional Education Lead (Freelance – QTS Required)

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven education professional to join INSIGHT Wellbeing Services Ltd as our Staffordshire Regional Education Lead.
This is a key leadership role within our organisation, supporting over 90 children and young people across Staffordshire through high-quality, trauma-informed tuition and mentoring.
About the Role
This is a self-employed freelance position, offering 80–100 hours per month, with flexibility in working patterns.
You will play a central role in coordinating our education provision across Staffordshire, ensuring that every child receives the right support, at the right time, from the right tutor.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and oversee education provision across the Staffordshire region
- Coordinate and allocate tutors to students based on need, suitability, and availability
- Provide guidance, oversight, and support to tutors to ensure high-quality delivery
- Operational Delivery
- Manage referrals and ensure timely allocation (aligned with LA expectations)
- Maintain strong oversight of student progress, attendance, and engagement
- Ensure all provision is organised, efficient, and responsive
- Data & Impact
- Confidently interpret educational data to track progress and outcomes
- Use data to inform decision-making, tutor matching, and intervention strategies
- Contribute to reporting for local authorities and internal monitoring
- Communication & Relationships
- Act as a key point of contact for local authorities, schools, and other stakeholders
- Manage phone calls, emails, and professional communication effectively
- Build strong, trusting relationships with commissioners and partners
- Quality & Development
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our education offer
- Support the development of tutors and uphold high standards of practice
- Provide input into tender submissions, particularly from an education perspective
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- Experienced in education leadership or management roles
- Highly organised and confident managing multiple students and tutors
- Strong in data analysis and using insight to drive decisions
- Proactive, responsive, and confident with administrative responsibilities
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- A team player who can lead others while remaining open to learning
- A quick learner, able to adapt in a fast-paced and growing service
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children, particularly those with additional needs or vulnerabilities
