Job Purpose
Site Fitter needed at Ermine Engineering Co Ltd for structural steel and architectural metalwork. You will work on various sites as part of a mobile team. We need an experienced fitter with a CSCS card, valid qualifications, and the ability to read drawings and install steel beams, stairs, and balustrades safely.

- Core Hours: 39 hours per week (standard shift).
Key Responsibilities
- Install steel: Fit structural steel frames, beams, and columns safely on site.
- Fit metalwork: Install architectural metalwork like staircases, handrails, and balustrades.
- Read drawings: Follow structural and architectural site drawings accurately.
- Work in a team: Collaborate with other fitters and site trades.
- Follow safety rules: Use tools safely and always wear correct PPE.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, hazard-free yard environment adhering to UK Health & Safety legislation.
Requirements
- CSCS Card: Valid skilled worker card required.
- Experience: Proven history in steel erection and architectural metal fitting.
- IPAF/CPCS: Relevant plant tickets (like MEWP or crane/slinging) are a big plus.
- Driving Record: Full UK driving licence preferred to reach different sites.
- Physical Fitness: Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting safely.
