We are seeking a dedicated and skilled KP/Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for learning about food preparation and cooking. No experience ia necessary. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen operations during service periods
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining freshness and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality at all times
- Washing up and kitchen cleaning is a significant part of this job.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential
