Role overview
Expected working hours are 8.45-5.45 (Trailing 8.30-5.30 current hours)
We are looking for a qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join our dedicated and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures
- Ensuring a high standard of infection control and cleanliness throughout the practice
- Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment
- Supporting the reception team when needed, including booking appointments and taking payments
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing a calm, reassuring presence for patients
- Supporting reception offering cover when required
Requirements:
- GDC-registered Dental Nurse (essential) ideally 1 years+
- Valid immunisations and Hepatitis B vaccination
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A caring, empathetic approach toward patients
- Ability to multitask and stay organised in a busy clinical environment
- Previous experience with dental software (e.g., SOE/Exact) is desirable but not essential
