Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our town centre hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services
- Lead and supervise staff to ensure efficient and professional service delivery
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and optimise performance
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and maximise occupancy rates
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local community partners
- Monitor industry trends to implement innovative practices that improve overall hotel performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality sector
- Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing diverse teams
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele
- Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and staff development
- Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and drive continuous improvement
- Familiarity with hotel operations systems and software applications
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or related fields are preferred
