Responsibilities
- Provide close protection services to clients, ensuring their safety during travel and at designated locations
- Conduct surveillance activities using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools to identify potential threats or suspicious behaviour
- Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and minimise risks
- Monitor surroundings continuously for security breaches or unusual activity, responding swiftly to any incidents
- Assist with first aid procedures when necessary, maintaining readiness for emergency situations
- Maintain detailed reports of security activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping and review purposes
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when required to manage security incidents effectively
- Ensure all security equipment is operational and conduct routine checks to maintain high standards of safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience in close protection, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation is essential
- Familiarity with loss prevention methods and threat assessment procedures
- First aid certification is highly desirable; candidates should be prepared to respond to medical emergencies if needed
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert over extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
- Valid security licence or certification as mandated by local regulations is essential
