We're looking for a creative and engergetic, commecially minded Content Creator to join our team and take our social media presence to the next level. We’re looking for someone who is creative, confident, commercially minded and obsessed with social media.
The Role:
As our Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for bringing Taskers products to life across TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
You’ll be hands-on from concept to creation - coming up with ideas, filming content, appearing on camera where appropriate, editing videos and publishing content designed to stop the scroll and encourage customers to shop.
The ideal candidate will understand what makes content perform on TikTok and Instagram, be confident jumping on trends quickly, and know how to turn a furniture product into engaging content that people actually want to watch.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Create engaging, entertaining and sales-focused TikToks and Instagram Reels.
- Develop creative concepts and content ideas around Taskers products.
- Film and edit short-form video content for social media.
- Create product demonstrations, room transformations, styling videos, and trend-led content.
- Identify and utilise relevant TikTok trends, sounds, formats and concepts.
- Create content that showcases products while remaining entertaining and native to the platform.
- Take ownership of the content process from idea generation through to filming, editing and posting.
- Regularly review content performance and use insights to improve future content.
- Help develop a recognisable and engaging social personality for the Taskers brand.
Social Media Management:
Alongside content creation, you’ll support the day-to-day management of Taskers social media channels, including:
- Scheduling and publishing posts across relevant social platforms.
- Replying to comments and engaging with followers.
- Managing daily Instagram Stories across our social pages.
- Engaging with relevant accounts, creators and customers.
- Keeping social channels active, fresh and on-brand.
- Supporting promotional campaigns, product launches and seasonal activity.
- Monitoring comments, messages and general audience sentiment.
- Keeping up with social media trends and identifying opportunities for the brand.
Skills and Experience Required:
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience creating TikToks, Reels or other short-form social content.
- A strong understanding of TikTok and what makes content perform.
- Excellent knowledge of current social media trends, sounds and formats.
- Strong video filming and editing skills.
- A creative eye and the ability to generate fresh content ideas consistently.
- Confidence appearing on camera and/or directing others on camera.
- A strong understanding of social media audiences and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to create content that is both entertaining and commercially effective.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple pieces of content at once.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to test, learn and experiment.
Experience within retail, furniture, interiors, fashion, lifestyle or e-commerce would be beneficial but is not essential.
