Electrical Engineer
ACDC Cranes started back in 2008 and specialise in service, inspections and repairs of overhead cranes and hoists, along with modernisation and installation work which incorporates our partnership with Verlinde for our new equipment sales.
We are seeking a competent electrical engineer to join our Sheffield based team, working in the local Yorkshire area, with a strong maintenance background in the industrial environment.
Previous experience on overhead cranes and hoists would be great but not essential, as training will be provided.
What we are looking for
- To be fully conversant with electrical engineering disciplines
- Apprentice trained or equivalent, with an electrical engineering background.
- Mechanical knowledge in addition is preferable
- Fully committed to safety and following company procedures.
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and be customer facing.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at height.
- Hold a current UK driving licence.
Training and Continuous Development
Training will be provided throughout your journey as an Electrical Engineer and we are keen for all our engineers to partake in both internal and external training courses, such as the LEEA Diplomas.
