Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will focus on developing new UK-based client relationships, promoting our ERP, cloud, and digital solutions, and driving revenue growth through structured, target-oriented sales activities. This role sits within the commercial and sales function, reporting directly to the Director, and plays a key part in supporting market entry, client acquisition, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients through outbound sales activities, networking, and lead generation
- Present and promote our ERP, cloud, and digital service offerings to prospective customers
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and sales presentations in line with company policies
- Manage and update CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and sales pipelines
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to align client requirements with service delivery capabilities
- Follow up on sales enquiries, negotiate terms, and close deals in accordance with company procedures
- Support local marketing activities and represent the company at relevant business events or conferences
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report progress to senior management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably within the IT, technology, SaaS, ERP, or digital services sector
- Ability to understand software features, technical capabilities, and client business needs
- Good negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term business relationships
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and structured sales processes
- Ability to work independently with a target-oriented focus
Pay: £39,500.00 per year
