Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team and play a key role in the continued development of our nursery.
Working proactively with the Nursery Manager, you will help to oversee the daily operation of the nursery, ensuring that children receive the highest standard of care, learning and development in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
You will support and mentor staff to achieve best practice, leading by example and helping to create a positive, collaborative and professional team culture. You will also contribute to the planning and implementation of high-quality practice, while supporting the team to meet the needs of every child.

Duties
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and standards.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to deliver exceptional service while fostering a collaborative work environment
- Coordinate training sessions focused on teaching best practices, safety protocols, and professional development for staff
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing insights, feedback, and innovative ideas to improve overall operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within in a nursery or early years setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster positive relationships with staff and families
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Working close with the manager to fulfill the nursery goals
- A solid understanding of the EYFS Framework
Pay: From £32,400.00 per year
