Overview
At Infiniti Care we are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality domiciliary and supported living care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and independence for those in need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of empathy and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they care for. This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the necessary care and companionship, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Duties
- Assist with personal care – washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting. Support with household tasks – bed-making, laundry, and light cleaning
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and activities that promote mental well-being.
- Administer medication in line with care plans.
- Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes to the line manager and appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Providecompanionship and emotional support
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Offer dignifiedend-of-life care, when needed
Skills
- Experience in care (domiciliary, supported living, hospice) is preferred but not essential
- A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- A UK Driving License and own car (preferred)

Pay Rate
- £12.71 per hour plus mileage
Requirements
Your Care Certificate, which includes 15 mandatory standards, is required.
You must have a valid DBS check and proof of your right to work to apply
