Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver with Ipaf to join our team. This role involves assisting with electrical installation, supporting the skilled electricians in delivering high-quality work at our project in Kings Cross. The ideal candidate will have some electrical experience and be eager to develop their skills further within a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians with electrical installation including containment, wiring and 2nd fix. I’m
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support electrical work
- Prepare work areas by organising materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support with wiring, conduit installation, and other basic electrical tasks under supervision
- Help in testing electrical systems and components to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and workspaces throughout projects
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with hand tools and power tools in an electrical or construction setting is desirable
- Basic electrical knowledge or experience is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is important
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to undertake training and develop technical skills in electrical work
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
