We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester and Mechanic to join our team in the UK. Based at our workshop, you will play a vital role in maintaining vehicle safety standards and delivering quality repair services, supporting our mission of automotive excellence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with legal requirements and safety standards.
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify issues.
- Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance using hand tools and power tools.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks safely to facilitate repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs.
- Ensure workshop cleanliness and safety protocols are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive regulations and technologies.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester or Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Relevant certifications or licenses for MOT testing preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
