Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely service to our clients. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods to various locations.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals and optimise fuel efficiency.
- Load and unload items carefully, ensuring items are secured during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Communicate with dispatchers and clients professionally regarding delivery schedules or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in warehouse activities when not on the road, including inventory checks and stock organisation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with delivery driver experience in a commercial setting.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical aspects of lorries or vans.
- Experience with warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with flatbed lorry operation is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving, including any specific endorsements required for flatbed or larger vehicles.
- Prior experience in logistics or transportation roles will be considered an asset.

Pay: £110.00-£140.00 per day
