Factory Skilled Operative Monday – Friday 06:00 – 13:45 shift or 13:45 - 21:30
This role includes working as part of a busy and fast paced wider production team. As a Skilled Operative, you may be required to learn several different pieces of production equipment including rotary and travelling potato ovens, running packing bagger lines, hot fill potting, sealing and coding lines, and also cooking vessels for sauce production. Having a good eye for detail, being a great communicator and being able to use your initiative are all important qualities for this role. Experience of working in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. This role affords variety for the successful candidate and the opportunity to build a wide range of skills in machine minding roles.
This role involves record completion for factory and processing paperwork requiring a good level of written and spoken English. Our ideal candidate would also hold a counterbalance B1 license.
Rate of pay £13.20 per hour to start, increasing to £14.03 following successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.
