Playback, Inverness's groundbreaking four-floor venue, is on the lookout for skilled and/or passionate Bartenders and Floor Servers to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Engage with patrons, take drink orders, and provide recommendations, creating a personalized and memorable experience for each guest.
- Menu Knowledge: Thoroughly understand the menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with menu choices and special requests.
- Table Maintenance: Keep dining areas clean and organised, resetting tables promptly for new guests, and contributing to an inviting atmosphere.
- Beverage Presentation: Ensure the impeccable presentation of beverages, aligning with Playback's high standards and contributing to the overall visual appeal of the bar.
- Efficiency and Speed: Work efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service during busy periods, prioritizing speed without compromising on the quality of drinks.
- Adherence to Policies: Strictly adhere to responsible service of alcohol policies, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the bar and floor staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable overall guest experience.
- Bar Maintenance: Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and ready for service.
- Mixology Mastery: Craft a diverse range of cocktails with precision and creativity, showcasing your mixology skills and contributing to Playback's unique beverage offerings.
- Hosting: Welcome and seat guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of guests through the dining area.
Requirements:
- Willingness to adapt, taking initiative in assisting the floor staff, glasswash, bar backing and even kitchen when required
- Experience is desired, but full training will be provided by our experienced team!
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-energy environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Team player mentality with a commitment to maintaining a positive work culture.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Must be aged minimum 18yrs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.20 per hour
