Terms:
5 days per week, hours: 9am - 2pm (25 hrs/week)
Salary/rate: £20,000 p.a

Glencairn House is a multidisciplinary Clinic based in the heart of Sherborne, offering traditional and complementary medicine.
About the role:
The Practice Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and efficient running of the Clinic. The role ensures the practice runs smoothly by overseeing the reception team, maintaining high standards of patient service, and ensuring all practitioners' treatment rooms are fully prepared, equipped, and ready for use each day. The Practice Manager will support the team daily, and help create a professional, welcoming, and efficient environment for both patients and practitioners.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring the clinic and treatment rooms are presented to a consistently high standard, supporting practitioners with their day-to-day needs, and acting as the first point of contact and assistance.
*Managing the reception team, being on hand to assist where necessary. Reporting to and assisted by the Clinic Director
*Being available to action letters for GP¡¦s and Consultants
*Daily invoicing, ordering, managing all monies (inc petty cash)
*Organising annual Practice meetings and an annual first aid course
*Overseeing the management of Edwards Farm (our small satellite Clinic outside of Shaftesbury) rarely a visit maybe required
Candidate requirements:
*Should have previous management and organisational experience
* Experience in managing people and leading a team is essential.
*Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Excel. Co-ordination of website
*Must be highly organised, demonstrate integrity and discretion when handling confidential information and have the ability to work on ones own
*Experience of working in a medical or health care setting would be an advantage, but not essential
*Having knowledge of clinical online diaries would be an advantage
Pay: £20,000.00 per year
