Over the last five years ULMS has engaged in extensive recruitment of academic and professional services staff, expanding into a state-of-the-art extension adjacent to the Georgian quarter of Liverpool, including a trading room and a marketing suite. The School now has 230 academic staff supported by a team of excellent professional services colleagues. The Work, Organisation and Management Group is now seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor) with expertise in organisation psychology and organisation studies.
Candidates will possess a background in organisation psychology, probably through an undergraduate degree in Psychology and / or an MSc in Organisation Psychology, with a PhD in Business and Management, and be able to demonstrate success in publishing in world-class and / or internationally excellent journals in this field. We welcome candidates with experience in qualitative research. Candidates will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating the capacity to sustain and extend a high level of output. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate a successful teaching track-record commensurate with the post as they will teach on the Group’s specialist postgraduate programmes, as well as potentially undergraduate programmes. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of student experience and looks for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules, alongside excellence in research.
