Cleaner — Self-Employed / Independent Role
Location: Birmingham & surrounding areas
Rate: £15.00 per hour.
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to join our short-term rental & serviced accommodation team. You’ll be cleaning and preparing properties between guest stays, ensuring every home meets high standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
What We’re Looking For
Must have your own transport — full, clean driving licence required; you’ll travel between properties
Must supply your own cleaning equipment & products — vacuum, mop, cloths, sanitiser, etc.
Knowledge of serviced accommodation / Airbnb cleaning — understanding of turnover standards, set-up and guest expectations
Flexible availability — able to work weekends and occasional weekdays; check-in/out times vary
Punctual & reliable — always arrive on time, complete work within agreed timeframes
Trustworthy & honest — you’ll work in properties unsupervised; integrity and discretion are essential
High attention to detail — no corners cut; we expect spotless, ready-to-receive-guest standards
Good communication skills — able to update us on progress, report any issues or maintenance needs
What You’ll Be Doing
Full turnover clean between guests: bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas
Changing bed linen, towels and restocking essentials
Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or missing items
Maintaining a consistent high standard across all our properties
