Overview:
We are looking for a HGV class 2 driver to join our team 3 to 6 months. Full time role maybe available or on a part time basis of 2/3 days a week. Driving and operating waste tanker throughout the West Country.

Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating waste tanker throughout the West Country
- To pump out and clean out septic tank, cesspit or treatment plant at domestic households and at commercial customers
- Operate tanker and equipment with skill, safety awareness in accordance with Company policy, procedure and legislation
- Dispose or recycle waste at authorised sites or treatment works at the end of each day or when necessary (in line with driver’s hours, sites opening hours)
- Prepare invoices and fill out a written record of waste transfer (duty of care)
- Carry out vehicle checks and complete defect reports prior to the operation of any vehicle
- Communicate with other colleagues, customers and disposal site employees
You must have:
- HGV class 2 Driving licence with a full UK driving license
- A polite and courteous manner
- Good communication skills
- A relatively good level of health and fitness, ideally have a good geographical knowledge of the Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset area
- Enjoy working outside
- Flexibility to work outside of core working hours (emergency jobs)
