As part of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a service-focused Assistant Manager to join the Aromi family and help lead our evening pizzeria at Bene’t Street.

Your day-to-day
- Support the successful running of the evening pizzeria, with a strong focus on hospitality and customer experience
- Lead the front-of-house team throughout service, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and attentive, efficient service
- Coordinate the flow of service between the front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Create a positive atmosphere and confidently manage busy periods
- Open and close the pizzeria, complete cashing-up procedures and ensure the building is left secure
- Support with rotas, staffing levels and the organisation of each service
- Train, motivate and supervise team members, helping them consistently deliver Aromi’s service standards
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues wherever possible
- Ensure food and drinks are prepared, presented and served consistently to the highest standard
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, health and safety
- Monitor stock levels and support with ordering and stock control
- Complete all required operational checks and paperwork accurately
- Report operational, staffing or maintenance issues to the General Manager or Directors
- Lead by example and create an environment where team members feel supported, motivated and confident in giving feedback
You’ll have
- Previous experience supervising or managing a front-of-house team in a busy restaurant, pizzeria, café or similar hospitality setting
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service
- Confidence leading a team during fast-paced evening services
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A calm, practical approach to resolving problems
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive, hands-on and proactive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- An interest in authentic Italian food, coffee and hospitality
