We are a busy, well-established local business specialising in the manufacture and installation of high-quality natural and engineered stone worktops which include Quartz, Granite, Marble, Slate, Quartzite, Porcelain & many more. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to join our friendly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the stone industry or a similar construction-related role who takes pride in producing high-quality work and delivering excellent customer service.
The Role
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for templating and installing kitchen worktops in customers' homes and commercial properties.
Templating is carried out using Correx material, so previous experience in this method is preferred. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate who is willing to learn.
As part of this varied role, you will also assist in our workshop when required, helping with the operation of saw machinery and polishing equipment. Flexibility is essential, as duties will vary depending on the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Template kitchen worktops using Correx material.
- Install natural and engineered stone worktops to a high standard.
- Ensure joints are filled & smooth
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in customers' homes.
- Assist in the workshop operating saw and polishing machinery when required.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and health & safety at all times.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience templating and installing stone worktops (essential).
- Has experience within the stonemasonry industry or a similar construction-related trade (essential).
- Is willing to learn and develop new skills through on-the-job training.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality workmanship.
- Has good communication and customer service skills.
- Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, including heavy lifting, stairs and challenging access conditions.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (essential).
- Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a flexible approach to work.

Experience
- Stone worktop templating and installation. (essential)
- Stonemasonry. (preferred)
- Granite, quartz or porcelain worktops.
- Construction, carpentry, kitchen fitting, joinery or similar skilled trades.
