Duties
- Assist children and young people with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs and goals
- Foster positive relationships through effective communication, active listening, and empathetic support
- Support children in educational activities and social interactions to promote personal growth
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and care activities using IT systems
- Drive children to appointments, activities, or outings safely and responsibly when required
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
Skills
- Experience working with children or in childcare environments demonstrating patience and understanding
- Valid driving license with the ability to drive safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
- Knowledge of child development principles and ability to adapt support accordingly
- Ability to create detailed care plans that address individual needs and goals
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving
