Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic and presentable.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Dispose of waste responsibly, adhering to environmental policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies as needed.
