We are seeking a dedicated and professional part-time position for a electrologist to join our clinic and a keen interest to grow within this business. Initially one to two days per week, including Saturday, with potential for additional days as the business develops.
The Electrologist will provide safe, effective, and personalised electrolysis treatments to a diverse clientele with varying skin tones, hair types, and hair growth concerns. This role requires strong technical skill, excellent client communication, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality permanent hair removal services across multiple areas of the face and body.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional electrolysis treatments using approved modalities (thermolysis, galvanic, blend) tailored to individual client needs.
- Assess and treat a wide range of hair growth symptoms, including hormonal hair growth, genetic hair patterns, post‑menopausal changes, and hair growth related to medical conditions.
- Treat multiple facial and body areas.
- Work confidently with diverse skin tones and hair textures, ensuring safe treatment practices for all Fitzpatrick skin types.
- Conduct thorough consultations, including medical history review, treatment planning, and realistic expectation setting.
- Educate clients on pre‑ and post‑treatment care, hair growth cycles, and long‑term treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
- Ensure strict hygiene and safety standards, including sterilisation of equipment and adherence to industry regulations.
- Provide exceptional client care, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all clients.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in permanent hair removal and willing to attend training when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Electrolysis.
- Advanced Electrolysis from a recognised training provider would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of hair growth cycles, skin anatomy, and contraindications.
- Experience treating a wide variety of skin types and hair growth conditions.
Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour
