Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician up to £35,000

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician to join our growing team, covering Swindon and the M4 corridor. This is a field-based role involving the servicing, maintenance, repair, of commercial and residential swimming pool equipment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the swimming pool industry, be customer-focused, and be confident working independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine swimming pool servicing and preventative maintenance
- Test and balance pool water chemistry
- Diagnose and repair faults on pool plant equipment, including pumps, filters, dosing systems, heaters, and UV systems
- Install and commission new pool equipment where required
- Perform plant room inspections and ensure systems operate efficiently
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current health and safety regulations
- Travel to customer sites throughout Swindon and the M4 corridor
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of swimming pool plant equipment and water treatment.
- Experience in fault finding and equipment repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work to a high standard
Desirable Qualifications
- Swimming Pool Water Treatment qualifications (e.g. STA, ISPE or equivalent)
- Electrical or plumbing experience
- Experience working on commercial swimming pools
- Knowledge of automated chemical dosing systems
