Duties
- Deliver personalised hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client's preferences and needs.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, ensuring clients feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit.
- Maintain a clean, organised work station in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and offer expert advice on styles, cuts, colours, and treatments.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and barbering.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all aspects of work.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling or barbering, with relevant qualifications preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, colour theory, and styling products.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple appointments efficiently.
- A professional attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences.
- Previous experience in a salon or barbershop environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
