The RoleWe are looking for a skilled, professional Ad Hoc Joiner to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis with potential long term work. This is ideal for an experienced joiner who wants varied, interesting work without a fixed full-time commitment. You’ll be called upon for domestic and commercial jobs ranging from small repairs to larger refurbishment and fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first and second fix joinery/carpentry work
- Door hanging, architrave, skirting, and general finishing
- Kitchen installations, fitted furniture, cupboards, and built-in joinery
- Window and door repairs/replacements
- Renovations, refurbishments, and general building support
- Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
- Deliver excellent customer service on every job
What We’re Looking For To match our company ethos, you must:
- Be CIS registered (essential – we cannot consider applicants who are not)
- Have proven experience as a qualified Joiner/Carpenter (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and pride in your work
- Provide outstanding customer service and communicate professionally with clients
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Have your own tools
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport (van preferred)
