About the Role
We are seeking a technically minded Network Support Technician to assist with network support, user requests, equipment records, troubleshooting, and routine technical administration.
You will help monitor support requests, maintain network records, assist with basic connectivity issues, and support technical colleagues with day-to-day service activities.
Previous professional networking experience is helpful but not essential. Training on company systems, procedures, and network-support processes will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to routine network and technical support requests
- Record support issues accurately in company systems
- Assist with basic connectivity and user-access issues
- Maintain network equipment and configuration records
- Update support tickets and technical information
- Monitor outstanding requests and follow up appropriately
- Assist with setup of approved network devices and user equipment
- Maintain hardware and asset records
- Prepare basic technical documentation
- Support scheduled network checks and maintenance activities
- Escalate complex technical issues to experienced engineers
- Assist with network monitoring and service-status checks
- Update spreadsheets and operational records
- Coordinate routine information with suppliers and technical teams
- Maintain organised digital technical files
- Handle customer and system information confidentially
- Support general IT and network administration as required
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in IT support, customer service, administration, technical support, or a similar environment is helpful but not essential
- Applications from career starters and candidates changing industries are welcome
- Previous exposure to networking or computer systems is beneficial but not required

- Strong interest in networking and information technology
- Basic understanding of computers and connectivity

Education
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are preferred
- A university degree is not required
- Qualifications or coursework in IT, Networking, Computing, or a related subject are beneficial but not essential
- Relevant practical or transferable experience will be considered
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
