Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times by following proper handling procedures
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change or receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas to uphold high hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Use basic math skills to calculate bills, tips, and manage inventory levels effectively
- Follow all restaurant policies and procedures to deliver exceptional service consistently
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bartending is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Strong serving skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a lively environment
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with restaurant POS systems is a plus but not mandatory
