We are currently looking for a skilled, safety-conscious, and dedicated Full-Time Arborist to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Tree Surgery Operations: Carry out all aspects of tree pruning, crown reduction, thinning, dead wooding, sectional dismantling, and felling to high industry standards.
Ground Support: Assist teammates with dragging brash, feeding the chipper, operating the winch, and maintaining a tidy and safe work site.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily safety checks, maintenance, and basic servicing of saws, chippers, stump grinders, and other climbing or rigging gear.
Site Safety: Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations (including LOLER and PUWER standards) to ensure the safety of yourself, your crew, and the general public.
Customer Service: Maintain a polite, professional, and helpful attitude when interacting with clients on-site.
Requirements
- Certifications: NPTC units CS30, CS31, CS38, and CS39 (or equivalent relevant certificates) are essential. Additional units such as CS41, UA, First Aid+F or IPAF are a distinct advantage.
- Experience: Proven professional experience working as a groundsman or climber within the arboriculture industry.Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essentialPhysical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.Mindset: A strong work ethic, a reliable team player attitude, and an unwavering commitment to safe working practices.Candidates will also be required to attend an Occupational Health fit to work assessment, drugs and alcohol test and carry out a DBS check.#If you are interested and want to have a chat about the position give me a call or message me on:
