- To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents,
- To follow individual care plans and ensure all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.
- To act as a key worker for a named group of residents. To be alert to resident’s physical and mental wellbeing and report any changes.
- To encourage, assist and support residents to participate in leisure activities as appropriate to ensure their social and emotional needs are met. This can also include escorting residents to outside appointments and leisure outings.
- Responsible for making and changing beds, tidying resident’s rooms and undertake light cleaning duties as needed.
- Helping to serve meals and drinks at meal times and other times when required in a polite and courteous service. To provide the appropriate level of support and help for residents who need assistance with feeding.

HealthCare Assistant Person Specification
Hollycroft Nursing Home is looking for two part time HCA'S days on a Bank basis. The successful candidate(s) will form a key part of our service users experience and as such we require candidates who can display the following:

· At least 1 years’ experience as HCA
· Minimum Level 2 qualification
· Secondary education

· Experience in care of elderly
