Interested in Digital Marketing?
We’re looking for a creative and curious Paid Ads Assistant to join our growing marketing team.
You don’t need to be a Google Ads expert or have years of paid media experience. We’ll teach you how to build, manage and improve campaigns across platforms including Google, Meta and LinkedIn.
What matters most is that you have some experience or education in marketing, understand the basics of social media and digital advertising, and are excited to learn more.
If you enjoy a mix of creativity, numbers and problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity to begin building a career in paid media.
About Us
System Six Kitchens is the South West’s largest kitchen manufacturer, with over 50 years of experience designing and manufacturing beautiful kitchens and bedrooms.
We’re a family-run business with seven unique brands, each with its own personality, audience and marketing strategy. One day you could be helping to launch a luxury kitchen campaign, the next promoting a trade product range or supporting a brand designed in collaboration with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
No two days, or campaigns, are ever quite the same.
The Role
As our Paid Ads Assistant, you’ll work closely with our in-house marketing team to help create, monitor and improve digital advertising campaigns.
You’ll receive hands-on training in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn advertising, Google Analytics and campaign reporting. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and manage your own campaigns.
You’ll also work alongside our creative team, using photography, video and written content to produce adverts that look great and generate genuine enquiries.
This role would suit someone at the beginning of their digital marketing career who is eager to learn, enjoys trying new ideas and wants to develop specialist paid advertising skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the creation and management of Google Ads campaigns.
- Helping to run paid social campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn.
- Monitoring campaign budgets, enquiries and performance.
- Writing and adapting copy for digital adverts.
- Uploading campaign creative, including photography and video.
- Helping test different audiences, messaging and adverts.
- Supporting the marketing team with campaign reports and performance updates.
- Using Google Analytics and advertising platforms to understand how campaigns are performing.
- Checking adverts, links, tracking and campaign settings for accuracy.
- Researching competitors, audiences and new advertising opportunities.
- Working with our creative team to develop campaign ideas.
- Keeping up with social media trends, advertising platform updates and new AI tools.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to know everything about paid advertising already. We’re looking for someone with the right foundations, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
You’ll ideally have:
- Some experience, education or training in marketing, digital marketing, social media or a related subject.
- A basic understanding of how social media and online advertising work.
- An interest in Google Ads, Meta advertising and digital campaign performance.
- Confidence working with numbers and interpreting basic data.
- Good written communication and copywriting skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence using digital platforms and learning new software.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks across different brands.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to ask questions.
- A full UK driving licence.
Experience could come from a previous role, internship, apprenticeship, college or university course, freelance work, personal projects or managing social media for a business or organisation.
Bonus Points If You Have...
- Used Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads or Google Analytics before.
- Helped manage a business social media account.
- Experience creating reports or working with spreadsheets.
- An interest in content creation, photography or video.
- Experience using Canva or other creative software.
- Completed a marketing apprenticeship, degree or relevant online course.
These are all useful, but they are not essential. Full training will be provided.
Why Join Us?
- Receive hands-on training in Google Ads, Meta advertising and campaign analytics.
- Develop specialist paid media skills while working on live campaigns.
- Work across seven exciting brands, each with its own personality.
- Learn from and collaborate with an experienced in-house marketing team.
- Work with professional photography, video and creative content.
- Have the opportunity to test ideas and see the results of your work.
- Build a clear career path within digital marketing and paid media.
- Market products you’ll genuinely be proud of.
- Be part of one of the South West’s largest and most respected manufacturers.
- Enjoy a varied role where every week brings something different.
