We are a growing commercial cleaning company providing high-quality cleaning services to a variety of client sites. We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and professional Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our team and help manage our day-to-day operations.
This is a key role within the business, ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and maintaining high standards of service. The successful candidate must be flexible, organised, and willing to support the team whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support cleaning operatives across multiple sites.
- Create and maintain staff rotas and schedules.
- Conduct regular site audits and quality inspections.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for cleaning supplies and consumables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Handle client queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Manage staff holidays, absences, and sickness cover.
- Provide cover for cleaning shifts when required.
- Record and manage staff hours for payroll.
- Ensure all sites operate to company standards and health & safety requirements.
- Train and support new and existing staff members.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience within the cleaning industry is a must.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- A professional and friendly manner when dealing with clients and staff.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and highly responsible.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Working Hours
Core Hours will be 8am-4pm but as we operate across sites between 6:00am and 10:00pm, flexibility is essential. Working hours will vary depending on operational requirements, site visits, staff support, and client needs.
