Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders accurately, and serve promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Monitor stock levels of alcohol, mixers, and other supplies; assist with stock replenishment when necessary.
- Engage with guests to promote a friendly atmosphere and handle any special requests or dietary requirements professionally.
- Follow responsible service policies to promote safe alcohol consumption among patrons.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender within a restaurant or bar environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods smoothly.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
