We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Restock bar supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth operation.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience through friendly conversation and attentive service.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
- Proven time management abilities to ensure timely service delivery.
- A personable attitude with excellent communication skills; previous experience in hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
