Key Responsibilities
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and emails.
- Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and company documentation.
- Supporting service, sales, and operational teams with general administration.
- Updating and maintaining databases and internal systems.
- Assisting with health and safety and compliance administration.
- Performing general office administration duties to support the wider team.
Accounts Administration (Preferred)
Experience in accounts administration is desirable and may include:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices.
- Assisting with credit control activities.
- Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding purchasing queries.
- Assisting with month-end administrative tasks and reporting.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in an office administration role.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive and professional approach to work.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Access to a vehicle is a must due to our rural location.
Desirable Experience
- Accounts administration experience.
- Experience using accounting software such as Sage or similar.
- Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or service-based business.
