Cleaner / Housekeeper Wanted – Traditional Pub & Inn, Ringwood (Hampshire)
We are a small, friendly, traditional Pub/Restaurant/Inn in Ringwood, Hampshire, and we’re looking for 1–2 reliable cleaners/housekeepers to join our team.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in keeping spaces spotless, enjoys working independently, and is looking for flexible, steady part‑time work throughout the year.
About the Role
You will help keep our pub, restaurant and guest areas clean and welcoming each day, including:
- Daily cleaning of pub, restaurant and customer toilets
- Housekeeping for our 6 letting bedrooms (occupied year‑round with seasonal variation)
- Changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and preparing rooms for new guests
- General cleaning duties to maintain high standards throughout the building
- Deep cleaning tasks as required.
Hours & Flexibility
- Approx. 20 hours per week per cleaner.
- This is a morning role usually finishing by midday.
- Some weekend availability required.
- Could suit a job share between two people
- Flexible days between the team — we’re happy to work around availability
- Additional hours available during busy periods
- What We’re Looking For
- Someone reliable, punctual and with good attention to detail
- Experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Friendly and trustworthy — we’re a small team and value a positive attitude
- Pay review after 3 month probation period with competitive hourly rate for the right person/people.
Location
We are based in Ringwood, Hampshire, easily accessible from the New Forest and surrounding areas.
