Background of this role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant who thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and enjoys working across a wide variety of sectors and service areas. This role is ideal for someone who wants to broaden their expertise rather than be confined to a single discipline, and who is motivated by delivering high‑quality environmental advice on multiple projects at once.
You’ll play a key role in delivering scientific solutions for our clients, who range from private individuals to major multinational organisations, working on projects across the UK.
Experience in some of our key service areas is required but we'd also like to see an interest and drive to learn new skills and work in areas they’ve not yet had the chance to.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver various environmental assessments, often running several projects simultaneously in either the Lan or Water Sector.
- Provide clear, expert guidance on environmental risk, compliance, and strategy.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs across ecology, planning, engineering, and environmental science.
- Produce and review high‑quality reports, proposals, and technical documentation under tight deadlines.
- Build strong relationships with a diverse client base, adapting your communication style to suit private individuals, SMEs, and large corporations.
- Support business development through presentations, out of office events and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge‑sharing team culture.
- Travel to sites across the UK as required — access to a car is essential.
