About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our small, fast-moving team, helping deliver consistently high standards in both food and service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking Nashville-style fried chicken to order
- Taking and processing customer orders quickly and accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace in line with food safety regulations
- Managing stock levels and assisting with deliveries and prep
- Ensuring portion control and presentation standards are met
- Handling dietary requirements and food allergies with care and attention
- Creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for every customer
About You
We’re looking for someone energetic, dependable, and eager to learn. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced street food environment and enjoy being part of a growing brand.
Essential:
- Availability to work weekends and peak trading hours
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn kitchen systems and food safety procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure
Desirable:
- Previous experience in catering, street food, or hospitality
- Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety knowledge
- An interest in street food, fried chicken, or independent food brands
