Overview
Joire MS Group (JMS) is seeking professional, reliable and vigilant SIA-licensed Security Officers to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients of Joire MS Group on a casual basis.
These roles involve working with the public, visitors and large crowds. We require a proactive and level headed individual, able to present themselves in a polite and professional manner, along with a good grasp of the English language.
This role would suit someone who is looking for additional work around their main job. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, customers and property. The successful candidate will monitor the premises, respond to incidents, enforce site security procedures and provide a professional security presence at all times.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol the premises to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Control access to the site and monitor visitors, staff and contractors.
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Record and report all security incidents and relevant observations.
- Perform routine security checks on entry points, exits, and sensitive areas to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms or disturbances, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Support emergency response procedures by providing first aid when required and following established safety protocols.
Requirements
- Hold a valid SIA licence and have a professional, reliable and responsible approach to security duties.
- Strong communication, observation and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility and punctuality, with the ability to work independently, also as part of a team across different shifts.
