It produces a variety of quality fish products largely under private label for a worldwide customer base. We trade principally in the Pelagic species - Mackerel, Herring and Sprats, Whitefish – Haddock and Whiting.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QC Technician to join our team om Fraserburgh. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet strict quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
The successful candidate must be a motivated individual with a hands-on approach, able to work independently and as part of a team. They should also have a good understanding of the principles and practices of Quality Management and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and flexibility are also required. Must be computer literate. Full training will be given
Responsibilities
- Carrying out quality assurance checks on all areas of the production line.
- Monitoring standards of hygiene, housekeeping, food safety, traceability, allergen management and legality and report any non-conformances.
- Verifying and helping enforce Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Completing all forms and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conducting internal audits as per schedule including blades, glass and personal hygiene.
- Following and understanding HACCP procedures.
- Collecting and preparing any samples as and when required.
- Full training will be given for all of the above.
